School.

Excited? Nervous? Yes, and Yes. Freshmen and sophomore year went by so fast, so Junior year better be good! This year my goal is to be like this cool guy:

I went to the Arc store with my mom yesterday when I saw him.

After Looking looking through clothes, I went to the back of the store next to the gym equipment, and there he was.

He was only $30. And I got him.

Happy late 4th of July!

Last year's 4th of July was warm and sunny (as seen in the photo to the right).

This year, It rained on us. Thankfully, my dad packed just about every umbrella we had in the car before we left. Even though we thought we would never use all of them. But we did. Although it was cold and my blanket got wet, we had enough Rice Krispy Treats, and a long game of Uno to keep us going.

But the fireworks where worth it.

Last night I had a dream that I became best friends with a sea turtle. But then he had to leave to go to the sea, and I was sad to lose my friend. But then he told me that he layed some eggs under my carpet, and then I was happy because I would have more friends!

Motion

For Motion, our assignment was to take freeze, blur, and pan pictures. My friends and I went to the park during class to take theses pictures, and that's where Ryan took this picture of me.

Sepia

With sepia, we developed the film and enlarged the picture the same, but we had to put the picture in another chemical to get the color. The thing was, we only had one day to use the chemical, because it smelled like rotten eggs.

You could smell it from down the hall.

Depth-of-Field

The picture above shows shallow depth (when the background is blurry). I took this picture last semester when we went on a field trip to some farm. It was a lot of fun!
